Gomoa Sports for Change foundation is a non-profit organization set up with the aim of using sports as a means for socio-economic impact (sport as a means to promote education, health, development, peace, job creation, etc.).
This foundation was set up after realizing that children just roam after school hours without doing any meaningful activity which some could be trap into social vices in our societies like drug addict, stealing, etc. Also there a lot of talents in Gomoa but due to lack of opportunities and exposures they are not able to achieve their aim of being professional athletes thus a lot of talents going waste.
The primary objective of our company is to help young athletes combine something they
cannot do in Europe, and that is sports and education.
The sports system in Europe as well as in the rest of the world is substantially different from
the way in which sports are organized in the USA. In all countries of the world other than the
USA, the focus of sports is on professionalism. Sports activities take place in clubs which compete
in leagues that are in no way connected to educational institutions, and therein lays the
problem. The clubs try to achieve the best results and create high-quality athletes, which is
why they often demand from young sportsmen to leave school or try external education so
that they could have more time for training sessions.
We are appealing for donations in any form; Playing equipment (Sports kits, Boots, Track suits, and Soccer Balls), Computers for on wards donations to schools, Funding for our projects, Sports scholarships, Overseas sports clinics and Many more.
